Did you know DC youth now have the option to pick up free weekly Market Boxes at Excel Academy, Langdon ES, and McKinley HS? Boxes are distributed every Thursday from 10 AM – 3 PM and contain 7 days’ worth of breakfast, lunch, & supper ingredients. Learn more and sign up at DCPS’ website. @dcpseats
Good news: Workers at DC grocery stores, farmers markets, and emergency food providers are now eligible to receive the vaccine! New appts will be available tonight (2/18) at 6 pm and tomorrow (2/19) at 6 pm. Learn more at coronavirus.dc.gov/vaccine.
Nourish DC will provide grants, loans, and technical assistance to local food businesses in underserved communities, with a preference for businesses owned by residents of these communities.
