Yesterday FPC members spent the day planning our 2023 priorities and reconnecting on our values and mission. So much work to do, feeling inspired about the year ahead!
One more amazing food grant!
The 2022 Nourish DC Grant application is OPEN! Grants of up to $50K for local food businesses in DC expanding food access, with a preference for businesses located in and owned by residents of Wards 5, 7, and 8. Applications due November 20.
@smallbizdc has opened their second year of the Food Waste Innovation Grants to provide $300,000 in funding for DC food & beverage businesses to reduce surplus food, cut food losses, and compost food waste. Link in bio for more info!
Tomorrow night! We'll be talking about food waste policy as part of DMV Food Recovery Week. Virtual event-- register for free in bio!
Next Wednesday October 12th at 5-6pm is the October full FPC Meeting. We will be meeting virtually on WebEx so please join by phone or computer.
