Cross-cutting Priorities

• Climate Change: Increase awareness of and action around the intersections between food systems and climate change both among residents, policymakers, and District staff
• Values & Right to Food: Develop outline of District food values, including existing legislation informing food purchasing, with a Right to Food approach.
• Budget Transparency: Highlight District funding across the food system to increase awareness of where and how money is spent
• Intersectional Research: Better understand food insecurity among college students and migrants
